A childhood game increasingly distant from the reality of companies! 

Flexible working hours, home office, process automation... are some characteristics that highlight these changes in work and every change opens up space for us to rethink our roles, whether as a leader or employee! 

“Far from the eyes, closer to the heart”, perhaps this part of the song translates our daily lives – Employees away from our eyes and without that close control. So, how to do it?

Our suggestion is: TRUST! If you delegate something to someone, believe that they will do it to the best of their ability and that everything will work out. 

The challenge is to deal with our expectations and the feelings that this new scenario generates! 

Below we have selected some tips on how to develop confidence and operate in this new work model!

1. Trust yourself first!  

Know exactly what the expected result of your work is and how you will achieve it!

2. Know your team 

People are different and it is important that you know each person's abilities and limitations.

3. Believe in the other's ability

As George Patton said “don’t tell people how to do things, tell them what to do and let them surprise you with their results”.

4. Make combinations

Align delivery expectations, deadlines and have frequent follow-up conversations;
